Venturing Out: ‘On The Go’ Shop in the Works

I am proud to announce today that sarah On The Go is soon going to host its own SHOP section.

After brainstorming ways to showcase my love for all things art, I decided that setting up shop would be the best way to go. I am not looking to quit my day job by any means, I am doing this to express my passion for creating, as well as to add character to this site. This will require more focus towards my efforts in keeping sarah On The Go at its best potential. I may even use this as an excuse to stay in on some weekends and get my craft on (wine included).

This shop will host a great portion of completely handmade goods such as:
  • Hemp products
  • Bracelets
  • Necklaces
  • Hair pins and handbands
  • Canvas art
  • Knit passport covers
  • Picture frames, jewelry hangers
Semi-homemade goods:
  • Tie-dye apparel
  • Home decor including acrylic painted glassware
  • Travel gear
  • Craft kits

… and so much more!

I have gathered some of my most handy friends to join in on this venture. I need to get the technicalities set, which will take about three weeks. As soon as it is up and running, I am going to feel so accomplished I may burst into tears.

sarah On The Go is a new website, but I can see that choosing a blog as an outlet for my thoughts is going to keep me busy for a very long time. Interacting with people from across the world through this particular medium has been fantastically rewarding in its three months of existence.

The best is yet to come! The dead of winter is here, and while it has been hard to keep my summer loving behind up and moving, I will continue to post about my adventures as an infectiously curious young adult. The change of seasons will prove to be my most productive months, as I have so much to share with you guys.

Check back this Monday, the 23rd, to read up on the Tennessee Bonnaroo Festival that I plan to attend this June. I interviewed a great personality for this post. Her personal account of this acclaimed musical gathering will most likely get you planning your own Bonnaroo trip, or at least entertain the heck out of you.
